Welcome back to fashion central.
As school begins anew, I become increasingly appalled at the fashions and habits many of my fellow students employ. I would like to take a moment or two to lay down a few rules and express my distaste.
1. Lately, there has been a trend among young ladies to wear skintight pants, cinched below their hipbones. It is mostly girls of the size 0-4 persuasion I am speaking of on this point. You may be thin, yes, but wearing your pants that tightly grasps whatever remaining ounces of fat you might have and pushes it out of your stomach and back. Rule of thumb, girls - if it’s causing angry red weals and furrows in your skin, it’s too damned tight!
2. Adding to the above, the habit of wearing clothes smaller than your real size, causing your fat to hang over your clothes is also appalling. If it were a man, you would all be gagging and calling it inappropriate. So why is it acceptable for a woman?
3. People who wear pajamas to class that they slept in the night before are truly damned lazy. Is is really hard to put on something CLEAN? “I have no time,” you might say. Bull. Wake up five minutes earlier. And brush your hair, damn it. It’s gross.
4. Plaid shorts and pants, worn by either sex, STILL looks exceedingly ugly.
This has been a public service announcement from your friendly neighborhood biddy.

I started reading a your entry and I swear it phased in as the intro to that movie Clueless. Funny how youth can provide so much to speculate upon. I myself am fond of wearing tight hip hugger jeans but within reason. (No guts, no fat rolls, i can move around and they won’t rip, you won’t see my panties or crack). It’s good times I’m a short asian who likes to wear jeans and tshirt. Then again I comment on a lot of people at school too. So ya know. You only take it all so seriously.

Hey, do not take it to heart. There will always be people who have no taste and they will amaze us with their clothing. I know a lot of people who know how to make fashionalble expensive thing look ugl;y on themsleves. I am more or less patient about otehr people’s clothes - but what i cannot stand is untidy, unpressed or dirty clothes on people. This way they show that they respect neither themselves nor surroundings.

The blog is quite interesting and some important tips are also given how to select your dress. Always you should prefer to wear that dress in which you feel comfortable. But your getup shouldn’t be the appealing one.

I agree, that if the fat hangs out, they are too tight. A bit extra is ok, but you gotta keep the right cloths with it.

Nice post.
Every body should justify it first which one is looking good and which one is bad then take a decision.Extra skin tight cloths will definitely looks bad for fat people. They should neglect it.
